Our Nursery

A nursery can benefit a community in a variety of ways. For us, our nursery sustains Chumash plants and keeps the culture alive. It revitalizes traditional interactions between people & plants in the ways of material, medicinal, food, etc. by increasing the habitats and gathering/harvesting practices of cultural significant plants. Our Nursery also provides a source of knowledge to local residents interested in gardening.
